NEW CD
FAV BANDS
LONDON BOMBINGS

There is a new CD under way. no finish line as of yet but im hoping for January 2006. i can't say much more about it right now since these things tend to take more turns than Lombard Street.. but i can tell you that i have spent some time co-writing with my good friend Tom Gillam and its been pretty great. im not sure what songs i will or won't use but the whole process was very new to me.. and its been a great experience. I think its easy for me since i love what Tom does and trust that he uses the same care with our time that he does with his own.

the winter tour was great. it feels like so long ago now.. but it was great to be out in new areas. i will acutally be returning to seattle and portland in august so check out the tour dates. i will be playing some shows with the lovely and talented Camille Bloom and can't wait to get to it.

off the subject of recording, there are a few new bands that ive been taken with lately.. one is The Alternate Routes and the other is Have Her Home By 10. they are totally different from one another and i love them both. check them out if you have some time.

off the subject of music entirely - the london bombings. i was left pretty dumbstruck. im not really sure how else to describe the feeling as i sat and watched the TV that morning. it was too familiar to see the news unfold.. and i HATE watching the news. the sensationalization of the media is repulsive to me and yet there isn't much of a choice but to watch when something like this happens. i really wonder when this whole "reign of terror" will end. the president says we must continue to fight and not give up.. and as much as i would like to hope that somehow he's keeping my little NYC apartment safe from the "evil" people, i know that the "evil" people feel like they need to continue to fight for their cause as well. i just don't see how "keeping on keeping on" will ever bring an end to it.

holy wars causing death and destruction have been around as long as people have fallen on bended knee to pray... what are we all praying for?
